A Closer Look Into Yona Beach Club

Yona Beach Club is one of Phuket's most popular beach clubs. Here's why.

Yona is the world's first floating beach club, which is a coverted three story yacht which can only be reached by shuttle boat. With a capacity of 500 people and a crew of 35, Yona is a must-visit beach club when in Phuket.

On the main deck there is a 22m infinity pool with a DJ booth and seating, beds, pool beds and cabanas. On the second floor named Sunset Terrace there is a lounge pool plus dancefloor which is perfect for chilling and watching the sunset. Finally on the rooftop there is a signature cocktail bar which serves sushi and pizza paired with a 360 degree view of the bay.

In the low season from March 30 to November 15, Yona is moored off the east coast, where you can catch the shuttle boat from Royal Phuket Marina. In the high season from November 16 to April 4 2027, the yacht moves to Patong Bay, where you get the shuttle boat from Patong Boat Pier. The shuttle boat runs every 20 minutes and takes 10 minutes to get to Yona.

During low season opening times are 9:30AM to 9:30PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and 2PM-9:30PM on the rest. Whereas during high season it is open from 9:30AM to 9:30PM daily where the last check in is 5PM.

At Yona there are two recurring party brands which are named Tribe and Mirage. Mirage is less regular and hosts special events on December 21 and Christmas Day, whereas Tribe is more often occurring almost every Saturday. Artists that have played at Yona include Gordo, Carlita, Themba and Shimza so expect to see some big DJ's announced over the next winter!

The dress code is smart casual, Yona recommends no tank tops, cut offs or sportswear. Yona also recommends to book ahead, where you can get free cancellation upto 3 days before the event. A day pass is priced at £45, a Sunbed is priced at £91 per person (minimum of 2 people) and the same with a cabana with a minimum of 4 people. A Basic Regular Pass gives all-day access but guarantees no seating, whereas Cabanas and Premium Seating cost more but guarantee a place to chill.
